We know you'll enjoy the many amenities provided for you at Tropicana Gardens: a quiet, 24-hour study lounge, a classroom, kitchenette, and two laundry rooms within the building. In your leisure time, you can take advantage of our swimming pool and the well-equipped recreation room, with its large-screen TV, VCR/DVD, pool tables, and ping pong. Tropicana Gardens also offers regularly scheduled housekeeping service in your suite, ample covered areas for bikes, and limited on-site parking. Living areas feature a suite floor plan with full-size living rooms, large bedrooms and bathrooms with double sinks. Each unit has a couch, large storage closets, wardrobe closets with double shelves and a dresser and study desk for each student. All suites are completely furnished and fully carpeted, and come equipped with cable television and high speed Internet connections. Our innovative dining service provides a full meal plan for Tropicana residents. From our warm and inviting cafe, you'll take in views of the courtyard and pool area while enjoying an extensive variety of entrees and a full salad bar. Plus, we do everything we can to accommodate special requests. In addition, we are proud to say that Tropicana Gardens is a smoke-free facility.

Tropicana Gardens is conveniently located just two blocks from the UCSB campus. Youíll also find bike paths, Isla Vista shops and outdoor cafe's, and beautiful year-round beaches just a short walk away.
Nearby is the City of Goleta, which caters to many student needs, and the coastal resort city of Santa Barbara, with its theaters, museums, and restaurants. Youíre also within a short drive of the Santa Ynez mountains. Tropicana Gardens is well-situated for many study and recreational opportunities.
